Team/Role Overview
The Services and Payments Operations Head is a senior level position responsible for leading the Payments Operations team within the South Africa Franchise. This team is accountable for, movement of funds, intra-day funds management and compliance related to monetary transactions. The overall objective of this role is to perform transactions and provide high volume cash management services. As a senior operations leader, the ole is also expected to represent the operations functions in local franchise matters and maybe asked to take on duties outside the core area of accountability.
What you’ll do
+ Process regular, restricted and legal transfers, client/Firm payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity
+ Provide instruction receipts and authentication, entry instructions and verification, processing and recording, and reporting and reconciliation
+ Oversee cash management operations, such as cash handling, check processing, return items and lock-box operations
+ Lead projects and manage the resolution of complex and varied issues
