You will develop training programs, coach staff, and uphold the salon's reputation for excellence, while staying abreast of current trends and ensuring high standards of hygiene and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Cosmetology or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a practicing cosmetologist with a strong portfolio.
• Experience in training, mentoring or educating within a salon or academy.
• Expertise in all aspects of hair design, colouring, and styling.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, perming and extensions.
• Perform advanced beauty treatments such as facials, waxing, and makeup.
• Develop and deliver training modules for apprentices and junior stylists and therapists.
• Mentor and coach salon staff, giving constructive feedback and performance guidance.
• Stay current with latest hairdressing techniques and trends.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards.
• Manage salon inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Contribute to the salon's marketing and client retention initiatives.

This multifaceted role involves providing expert hairdressing, styling, and beauty services to clients, alongside a significant responsibility for training and mentoring junior staff. You will be instrumental in upholding the salon's reputation for excellence, developing training programs, and ensuring the highest standards of technical proficiency and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a master of their craft with a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of current trends in the hair and beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of advanced hairdressing services, including cutting, colouring, styling, perming, and extensions.
• Perform advanced beauty treatments such as facials, waxing, and makeup application.

Requirements

• Expertise in all aspects of hair design, colouring, and styling for diverse hair types.
• Knowledge of a range of beauty treatments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
