Purpose of Job
Coordinate all activities relating to vehicle scheduling and movement control as part of the facilities management business process within outbound Supply Chain operations. Ensure internal coordination between the vehicle inspection, queuing, call up, weighing and shunting functions. Resolve supply chain issues at the operations being experienced. Reporting, Analytics and Optimization initiatives. Support Tankfarm volume balance function. Support process material planning, ordering and stock management as required.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement defined strategic frameworks, policies and guidelines.
- Adhere to Site Services KPA’s for the STO.
- Identify and propose continuous improvement opportunities of vehicle movement and slot booking system.
- Through measurement, benchmarking and implementation of gap closure plans.
- Report on number of non-conformances.
- Contribute to the design, implementation and improvement of transactional (planning and execution systems, performance measurement, data analysis).
- Ongoing Supply Chain business improvement benchmarks against best in class.
- Identify opportunities for debottlenecking outbound logistics facilities.
- Train, develop and coach people.
- Personal mastery of creating an environment where people perform.
- Operational activities to ensure execution of business schedule and optimal utilization of STO loading facilities.
- Support STO volume balance calculations and the calculation of the Certificate of Volume (COV) by SO production accounting.
- Support the STO process material planning, ordering and stock management process.
- Provide updated and accurate Supply Chain information.
- Standardized reporting aligned with Supply Chain and management requirements.
- Ensure compliance/governance to the Site Services minimum requirements, standards and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders, counterparts and managers.
- Cooperate with Site Logistics operational functions regarding change activities.
- Apply change management principles proactively.
- Liaise with clients, BU’s and PL to execute plans & realize benefits.
