Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer

Your responsibilities :

1. Work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
2. Develop control system design for the project, including control narratives and supporting documents for control and shutdown systems.
3. Create documentation for field instrumentation design, including data sheets, loop drawings, and bill of quantities.
4. Design communication systems for control and data networks.
5. Develop fire and gas system designs and documentation for process fire and gas systems.
6. Develop P&ID diagrams reflecting control and instrumentation systems.
7. Review and approve designs created by other team members.

Your profile :

The candidate must possess a BSc / B.Eng. degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering and be registered as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).

The candidate must have at least 10 years of specific C&I design experience, with a minimum of 6 years in the Oil & Gas industry. Knowledge of and understanding of SABS / IEC standards is required.
