Great career opportunity for an experienced Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineer.

Our customer is a multi-disciplinary engineering solution provider serving the air pollution, energy, metallurgical, manufacturing, chemical, and infrastructure industries.

The company is currently active with projects in South Africa, Europe, South America, Asia, and the Middle East.

The Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer designs, develops, tests, and supervises the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of equipment, components, or systems for commercial and industrial use.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develop complex engineering solutions and associated deliverables.
2. Verify detailed design calculations.
3. Supervise or train project team members as necessary.
4. Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment.
5. Prepare cost estimates for electrical design, equipment, and installation works.
6. Estimate labour, material, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes.
7. Prepare tender Scope of Works / Scope of Supply documentation.
8. Track actual cost vs tender cost.
9. Provide accurate and realistic task or deliverable estimations.
10. Oversee project production efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
11. Ensure quality assurance and control of instrumentation and control deliverables, equipment, and installations.
12. Compile ITP and QCP documentation for internal and external use.

Education Level

Applicable degree from a recognised institution

Location

Experience

15+ years' experience in the Electrical and Instrumentation fields.
