About the Role:
As the Senior Contracts Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of all proposals and contracts, contributing directly to financial and operational performance. You’ll collaborate closely with supply chain, project management, finance, and other key stakeholders to deliver best-in-class contract administration and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, analyze, negotiate, and revise contracts to maximize performance and minimize risk.
Compile and manage tender documentation, pricing tables, and commercial terms.
Monitor contract performance to ensure delivery aligns with specifications, timelines, and budgets.
Evaluate tender proposals and prepare adjudication reports and recommendations.
Draft and approve payment certificates, verify insurances and guarantees, and manage contract variations.
Support dispute resolution processes and assist with cash flow reporting.
Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation in RSA and DRC.
What You’ll Bring:
BCom, Business Administration, or Operations Management qualification (LLB advantageous)
️ Minimum 7 years’ experience in a senior contracts role within the mining industry.
Solid understanding of contract compilation, government legislation, and procurement regulations (DRC & RSA experience highly beneficial).
Strong financial acumen and experience with budget tracking and reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office and other contract management software.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
