Placements24, a leading strategy and technology consultancy, seeks a Senior Consultant focusing on Technology Strategy and Implementation. This fully remote role lets you work from your preferred location within or near Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, while advising clients on technology roadmaps and overseeing implementations.

You will translate complex requirements into actionable business solutions, manage IT projects, and mentor junior consultants as part of the firm's technology practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; a Master’s is a plus.
• 5–7 years IT consulting, technology strategy or IT project management.
• Experience advising on cloud, ERP, CRM or custom development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine technology strategies aligned with clients' goals.
• Assess technology landscapes and identify areas for improvement.
• Advise on enterprise software, cloud solutions, and digital platforms.
• Manage technology implementation projects with scope, budget, timeline.

About the Role

Our client, a leading strategy and technology consultancy, is seeking a talented Senior Consultant to focus on Technology Strategy and Implementation. This is a fully remote opportunity, enabling you to work from your preferred location within or near Nelspruit, Mpumalanga . You will be instrumental in advising clients on their technology roadmaps, selecting appropriate solutions, and overseeing their successful implementation. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and technical acumen, helping organizations leverage technology to achieve their business objectives, improve efficiency, and drive innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current technology trends and a proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT consulting, technology strategy, or IT project management.
• Proven experience in advising clients on technology solutions, including cloud, ERP, CRM, or custom development.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex technology projects, preferably in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with agile and waterfall project management frameworks.
• Must be able to work effectively remotely from Nelspruit, Mpumalanga , with potential for occasional client site visits.
