AECOM is seeking a highly capable Construction Site Supervisor to oversee operations across projects in and around Johannesburg, Gauteng. You will manage day-to-day site activities, enforce safety, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery with a hands-on leadership approach.

The role requires a National Diploma or equivalent, 5–7 years in supervision, strong reading of plans, and excellent communication to coordinate trades and clients. Relocation to Gauteng and full-time presence are expected.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive construction supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proven track record managing residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
• Develop and implement detailed work schedules, coordinating trades and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Manage site logistics, materials, equipment, and waste.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients for updates.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and incident records.
• Oversee safety training and site inductions for all personnel.
• Resolve on-site conflicts and ensure delivery to high standards.
