Placements24 is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join a fully remote team developing perception systems for autonomous vehicles and robotics. The role emphasizes real-time CV, deep learning, and sensor fusion, with a focus on building robust vision pipelines and research-driven approaches.

You will design algorithms, train models, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, mentoring others while staying at the forefront of CV/ML innovation. Remote work flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in CV-related field.
• 6+ years in computer vision R&D.
• Proficiency in C++/Python with CV libraries and DL frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design real-time CV algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Develop and train DL models for visual perception (TF/PyTorch).
• Integrate CV with hardware and software teams.
• Process large image/video datasets to improve accuracy.
• Research SLAM, sensor fusion, and generative models for vision.
• Validate algorithms in simulation and real-world environments.
• Contribute to system architecture of perception stack.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
• Stay updated with CV/ML research advances.
