Job summary

Weir is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst in Johannesburg to oversee regulatory compliance, assess risks, and strengthen governance. This onsite role collaborates with multiple teams to maintain integrity and drive sustainable practices.

You will develop training, monitor compliance activities, and support audits while advising departments on regulatory matters. A relevant degree and strong analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Regulatory compliance experience or strong understanding of laws and standards.
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Create and deliver training to employees on compliance matters.
• Monitor activities and prepare reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Lead investigations into compliance breaches and support audits.
• Provide advisory guidance to departments on regulatory matters.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
• Occasional travel to support audits and training.
