Job summary

FirstRand Bank India seeks a seasoned Project Manager to coordinate planning, scope definition, and delivery of medium to large complex projects. You will lead diverse teams, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure governance and regulatory compliance within payments programs.

Responsibilities include driving project lifecycles, balancing competing priorities, and ensuring quality across multiple initiatives. Strong stakeholder management and SDLC leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• PM certification such as CAPM or PMP is required or beneficial.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing medium to complex projects.
• Experience in agile and waterfall environments.
• Experience in Compliance & Payments is preferred.

To coordinate people and processes and drive business change that delivers value through the structured implementation and delivery of projects against time, resource, budget, and scope constraints for medium to large and/or medium to highly complex BU/PH.

Job Description:

• Initiate and manage the planning process, clearly defining the project’s scope, goals, and objectives. Develop detailed plans outlining tasks, resources, timelines, and deliverables, creating a solid foundation for project execution.
• Manage project resources (including people, procurement, systems, time and budget) from the initiation of an identified project to the end of the defined project lifecycle or process in order to deliver on project goals and objective.
• Manage complex projects in a constantly changing environment.
• Motivate and lead project teams across various levels and various phases of a project life cycle and SDLC.
• Manage conflicting priorities and time effectively to deliver results.
• Leading numerous projects concurrently ensuring quality, governance and deliverables are adhered to.
• Ensures financial institution adheres to all relevant regulations and policies.
• Oversee compliance Payments programs, conduct risk assessments, monitor Acquiring compliance activities.
• Advise on Visa, Mastercard, UPI PASA and SARB regulatory changes.

Requirements:

• • A CAPM, PMP or any Project management certification or qualification
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing medium to complex projects impacting several systems and teams
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an agile and waterfall environment.
  • Compliance & Payments experience.
