Job summary

Idbasesoftware is seeking a Cloud Engineer to architect, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud platforms, applying DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code. You will mentor junior and intermediate engineers and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

You will design distributed cloud systems, manage container platforms, implement automation, and drive reliability and security across production and development environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or engineering.
• 5+ years of cloud/platform engineering experience with hands-on delivery.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills.
• Proficient in container orchestration and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with IaC and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to monitoring/observability tooling and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build distributed cloud systems across AWS, Azure, or GCP and hybrid environments.
• Architect resilient, scalable, highly available cloud-native platforms.
• Implement and manage container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Develop and operate Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Create automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Maintain observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
• Lead reliability and security initiatives including DR, backup, and IAM governance.
