Job summary

Indsafri in Cape Town seeks a Senior Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions that drive digital transformation in the insurance sector.

You will develop cloud strategy, design secure architectures across AWS/Azure/GCP, and lead IaC, containerization, and CI/CD efforts while ensuring regulatory compliance and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of cloud architecture experience, with focus on insurance industry.
• Expert knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines design and implementation
• Advanced knowledge of cloud networking, security, and compliance
• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Deep understanding of insurance processes, regulations and compliance

Responsibilities
