Placements24 seeks a Senior Clinical Research Associate in Midrand, Gauteng, to oversee clinical trials, ensure GCP adherence, and manage site operations. You will monitor, train staff, and liaise with cross-functional teams to drive data integrity and trial progress.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in CRA roles, strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, CTMS and EDC systems, and willingness to travel to sites. Advanced degree preferred, based in Midrand or surrounding area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science, nursing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate in the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• Proven experience in site management, monitoring, and audit preparation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in CTMS and EDC systems.
• Willingness to travel to assigned sites.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement, and manage clinical trial activities at assigned sites.
• Ensure adherence to GCP, protocol guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site visits (initiation, monitoring, close-out) to assess recruitment, data quality, and progress.
• Train and support investigators and site staff on protocol procedures and data collection.
• Manage and resolve site operations and data discrepancy issues.
• Prepare and present monitoring reports to the trial team and management.
• Collaborate with data management, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs.
• Maintain accurate and organized trial documentation.
