Job summary

The Talent Room is seeking a Senior Officer, Client Operations based in Somerset West, South Africa, to support onboarding and ongoing transactions for clients, distribution partners, and service providers. You will ensure service standards, oversee process adherence, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will manage case progress, handle escalation queries, and contribute to training initiatives to maintain high client experience and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Admin, Finance or Economics.
• Diploma in Financial Services or Client Services advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• 3–5 years’ experience in client services or administrative role, preferably in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service standards as per the established Service Model.
• Ensure adherence to processes and raise issues as needed.
• Work with other functions and stakeholders.
• Post fees for services rendered in a timely manner and per processes.
• Participate in departmental meetings and review work for policy adherence.
• Manage complaints, errors, and omissions per policy.
• Monitor progress of assigned cases and follow up on outstanding items.
• Maintain records on processing systems and assist with case work as required.
• Provide first-line escalation support and train new staff.
• Contribute to team meetings and support team leaders in their absence.
