The role holder is responsible for CFO Assist Services, including preparing and managing accounting services for client entities.
This includes the preparation of annual accounts, VAT and tax returns, cash flow overviews, invoices, etc.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing and monitoring company / corporate tax and daily accounting for client companies.
- Preparing annual accounts, interim accounts, VAT returns, annual tax returns, cash flow overviews, budgets, bill payments, and issuing invoices.
- Accurately preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other accounting reports required by clients.
- Assisting clients in opening bank accounts and ensuring efficient transaction monitoring.
- Monitoring incoming payments in compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Ensuring accounts are prepared according to generally accepted accounting principles within set timelines.
- Analyzing and providing value-added reports on clients' annual accounts to aid business decisions.
- Participating in business growth and marketing efforts with existing and new clients.
- Managing client portfolios to keep information accurate and up-to-date.
- Following up with clients and Account Managers for timely information collection.
- Coordinating with team members and other departments to deliver high-quality service.
- Engaging with clients to resolve payment queries and ensure collection of outstanding invoices.
- Recording chargeable time and service value in Maconomy for billing purposes.
- Monitoring time spent against budgets and resolving variances promptly.
- Maintaining personal productivity and chargeability targets.
- Maintaining contacts with clients and professional intermediaries for information gathering and verification.
- Collaborating with external auditors during audits.
- Acting as a trusted advisor and maintaining long-term client relationships.
OTHER DUTIES
- Undertaking roles such as director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, or authorized signatory in internal or client entities as required.
- Performing other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance and Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in trust, corporate services, or financial services industries.
- ACA / ACCA / CFA qualifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of current regulations, tax, and accounting developments, with expertise in international requirements like FATCA, CRS, BEPS, GAAR, ESR.
- Strong commercial mindset, initiative, positivity, and revenue focus.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment; proven leadership skills.
