Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cleaning Technician to join their facilities management team in Mossel Bay. The role focuses on advanced cleaning, hygiene across commercial and industrial sites, and leadership of junior staff.

You will develop cleaning schedules, supervise staff, ensure COSHH and HSE compliance, and maintain accurate records of activities and chemical usage. A minimum of 5 years in cleaning, with 2 in a senior role, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in commercial or industrial cleaning, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to operate and maintain a wide range of cleaning equipment, including industrial floor machines, pressure washers, and steam cleaners.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and sanitation best practices, including COSHH regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior staff.
• Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations within the cleaning industry.
