Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer for a fully remote-first role within South Africa. You will design, plan and execute complex infrastructure projects, leading technical teams and coordinating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a BEng in Civil Engineering, Pr Eng registration, and 8+ years of experience in infrastructure design and project management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Master's degree is advantageous.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is essential.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar design software.
• Strong knowledge of SA infrastructure standards and best practices.
• Experience managing large-scale projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage workload independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, water, sanitation).
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and prepare detailed technical reports.
