Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer in Upington, Northern Cape, to lead the delivery of roads, water, and sanitation infrastructure from design through to construction supervision and close-out. The role requires a BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering, 6+ years of design and project management experience, and professional registration with ECSA.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and ensure compliance with standards while driving project success in a challenging regional

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• ECSA registration (Pr Eng or Pr Tech) desirable.
• Experience in roads, water and sanitation projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for civil infrastructure projects from planning to close-out.
• Develop scopes, budgets and schedules and monitor progress.
• Ensure designs meet engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee site supervision and contractor performance.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate communication between clients, contractors and internal teams.
