Job summary

MSP Staffing (PTY) LTD is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer in Cape Town to provide technical leadership across a diverse infrastructure portfolio. The role requires professional registration, strong consulting experience and a passion for delivering practical, compliant engineering solutions.

You will lead technical teams, design water, sewer, stormwater, roads and earthworks projects, and ensure designs meet SA standards and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Registration with ECSA as PrEng or PrTechEng.
• Minimum 8 years’ progressive civil engineering experience.
• Strong consulting engineering experience within infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience leading technical teams or managing engineering projects.
• Advanced design experience in water, sewer, stormwater, roads and earthworks.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Wadiso, iDAS or equivalent modelling software.
• Strong knowledge of South African engineering standards, SANS codes and municipal requirements.
• Sound project management, budgeting and resource allocation skills.
• Excellent technical report writing and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities
