The role requires leadership, 10+ years of bridge experience, and proficiency with MIDAS Civil or CSiBridge, with ECSA registration highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural/bridge design.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in bridge design and analysis.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MIDAS Civil or CSiBridge.
• Strong knowledge of materials science and construction methods for bridges.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of beam, arch, and suspension bridges.
• Perform detailed load, stress, and integrity calculations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of various types of bridges, including beam, arch, and suspension bridges.
• Perform detailed calculations for load capacity, material stress, and structural integrity.
• Develop comprehensive design reports, drawings, and specifications for bridge construction.
• Ensure compliance with national and international bridge design codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO, SANS).
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to deliver safe and efficient bridge solutions.

Requirements
