Placements24 is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Civil Engineer to lead design efforts on major infrastructure projects in Randburg and the broader Gauteng region. You will oversee civil design, project management, and mentor junior engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires a Pr. Eng registration with ECSA, a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and at least eight years of progressive experience delivering projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive civil design and project management experience.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil projects including roads, drainage, and site development.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
• Ensure compliance with national and local codes, standards, and regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources; liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Review designs and provide expert engineering advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, and site development.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Requirements
