WSP is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join the Water Infrastructure and Design Division within the Mine Engineering Business Unit.
This person will be responsible for the design, drawing, and construction monitoring of infrastructure projects. The duties and responsibilities include:
The candidate must be able to undertake and review associated works designs and demonstrate a sound technical knowledge of contract and construction procedures. The position is head office based; however, the successful candidate must be prepared and free to travel extensively both within South Africa and the African Continent to manage projects and engage in client and other meetings.

BEng / BSc / BTech – Civil / Mechanical Engineer Degree. Minimum 8-10 years' experience. Professionally Registered will be an advantage. Civil 3D and AutoCAD would be advantageous. At least 6 years' experience with pipeline, pump station, and storm water design within the consulting environment. Project and engineering management experience with relevant qualifications would be advantageous. Familiarity with KY-Pipe, EPANET, PC SWWM, HEC RAS, or Bentley simulation software will be an advantage. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel (Advanced), MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Projects.
