Responsibilities

• The design of wastewater infrastructure – bulk water or water treatment plants
• project management of multidisciplinary projects

Qualifications

• A minimum of a BSc or B Eng in Civil Engineering is required.
• A Master’s in Water and Wastewater Treatment is a strong advantage.
• A BSc or BEng in Chemical Engineering will also be considered, providing you have experience in municipal wastewater treatment design and project management. Please provide evidence on your CV of experience in the Civil design and engineering of such projects.
• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer essential.
• The roles involve site work and may require travel and work on site. A valid driver’s licence (manual) is essential, own transport recommended.

Experience

• At least 5-8+ years of experience in wastewater infrastructure design, project management, and contract administration, with sound knowledge of treatment plants or bulk water projects

Skills

• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication
• Strong and demonstratable technical skills in the CIVIL Engineering space
• Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Word and MS Project essential
