Senior Civil Engineer

We are searching for a dynamic and motivated Professional Civil Engineer / Civil Engineering Technologist to join an established medium-sized Consulting Engineering firm located in Bellville (Cape Town).

Key Requirements:

1. BTech : Civil Engineering / BEng Tech : Civil Engineering.
2. Professional Engineer / Technologist with ECSA.
3. 7-10 years of post-graduation design experience in municipal infrastructure projects (Water networks, sewer networks, stormwater network, roads, and parking areas).
4. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Ability to manage and mentor junior civil engineering staff.
7. Preparing quantities and cost estimates for tender and construction projects.
8. Preparing Civil3D drawings and specifications.
9. Preparing 3D surfaces, volume calculations, corridors, and comprehensive knowledge of Civil 3D feature lines and grading.
10. Preparation of specifications and reports.
11. Conduct site inspections and write site visit reports.
12. Involved in civil projects from concept stage to completion stage.
13. Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
14. Good communication skills.
15. Code B driver's license with own vehicle.
