Job summary

V3 Consulting in Mossel Bay is seeking an experienced, detail-driven Draftsperson to join our Infrastructure team on a permanent basis. You'll translate engineers' designs into accurate, standards-compliant civil and structural drawings.

Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will prepare detailed drawings, update construction and as-built plans, coordinate with other disciplines, maintain drawing registers and support site measurements and inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' drafting experience on civil/structural projects.
• Proficiency in creating and updating civil and structural drawings.
• Experience with standards compliance and drawing registers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings for infrastructure projects.
• Produce and update construction, tender and as-built drawings.
• Incorporate engineers' and technologists' designs and technical instructions into drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with other disciplines and identify potential clashes or discrepancies.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions and document control.
• Assist with site measurements, inspections and updating drawings based on site conditions.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards, specifications and client requirements.
• Provide drafting support to engineers, project managers and the broader technical team.
