Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our Pretoria team. You will lead the detailed design of civil infrastructure, including roads, earthworks, and stormwater, while mentoring junior staff.

You will coordinate with clients and consultants to ensure compliance with standards and regulations, contributing to landmark projects in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• PrEng registration with ECSA is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil design.
• Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and drainage analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and contract documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the detailed design of civil infrastructure components such as roads, earthworks, and stormwater systems.
• Prepare comprehensive design drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
