Job description

The Role As the Senior Chief Enterprise Architect you will serve as the principal technical leader responsible for defining the enterprise-wide IT architecture strategy and roadmap. You will work closely with executive leadership, business units, and technology teams to design and implement architecture solutions that drive digital transformation, operational efficiency, and innovation in the energy sector. Key Responsibilities : Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework aligned with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements. Lead architecture governance and standards, ensuring all technology initiatives are scalable, secure, and interoperable. Translate business strategy into actionable technology solutions across application, data, infrastructure, and security domains. Collaborate with business units, IT leaders, and external partners to drive enterprise-wide architecture initiatives. Guide the integration of modern technologies, such as AI, IoT, cloud platforms, and advanced analytics, into the energy ecosystem. Oversee solution architecture for major programs and ensure alignment with the enterprise blueprint. Maintain a strategic view of emerging technology trends and their impact on the electricity supply industry. Mentor and lead a team of architects and analysts to build a high-performance architecture function. Requirements : Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,Information Technology,Engineering, or a related field . 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or chief architect role. Certificate of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF , Zachman) and Certificate of modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, APIs, event-driven). Proven experience in the utilities or energy sector is highly desirable. Strong understanding of industry-specific systems : SCADA, EMS, AMI, GIS, CRM, and ERP platforms. Familiarity with regulatory and cybersecurity requirements in the energy sector. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at C-level. Experience leading digital transformation and IT modernization programs in complex environments.
