Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in chemical plant operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale chemical manufacturing processes and complex equipment.
• Strong knowledge of plant safety procedures, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Excellent financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plant operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and within budget.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Oversee maintenance, turnaround, and capital projects to minimize downtime and ensure plant reliability.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards and company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, promoting a high-performance culture and fostering employee engagement.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze operational data, and implement corrective actions as needed.
