Placements24 seeks a Senior Chemical Engineer to lead capital projects at our Upington facility from conception through commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, safety, and quality. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in chemical engineering with at least 5 years in project management.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale capital projects in the chemical industry.
• Knowledge of PMI or PRINCE2 project management methodologies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of complex chemical engineering projects.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop project specifications, tender documents, and manage contractor performance.
• Ensure all projects comply with company safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements.
