Qualifications

• B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical plant operations or process engineering.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
• Knowledge of process safety principles and regulations.
• Experience with process simulation software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operations to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety.
• Identify and troubleshoot process upsets and equipment malfunctions.
• Implement process improvements to increase yield, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Develop and revise SOPs and P&IDs.
• Conduct PHAs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide technical support and guidance to plant operators and supervisors.
• Participate in projects related to plant upgrades, modifications, and new process installations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste management practices.
