Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality is seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef for a remote luxury camp. This hands-on role demands leadership, creative menu thinking, and meticulous hygiene in a high-end bush environment.

You will oversee daily kitchen operations, manage stock and requisitions, and mentor a small culinary team while coordinating with front-of-house for seamless service. Immediate start is preferred; driver’s licence is advantageous though not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Chef or Sous Chef within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of menu planning, food costing, and stock control.
• Solid grasp of kitchen hygiene, health, and food safety standards.
• Ability to lead and support a small kitchen brigade.
• Comfortable working in a remote, close-knit lodge setting.
• Own transport not required, though a valid driver’s licence is advantageous.
• Available to start immediately.
