Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct line maintenance inspections.
2. Ensure quality in Pre-Flight, Post-Flight, and Transit inspections.
3. Perform routine and non-routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft to meet safety and operational standards.
4. Conduct routine inspections on various avionics systems.
5. Perform fault finding and rectify issues based on findings.
6. Perform thorough daily inspections to identify potential issues or defects.
7. Carry out necessary maintenance to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
8. Adhere to established maintenance procedures and safety standards.
9. Record all activities properly and sign off as per SACAA requirements, ensuring legal compliance.
10. Comply with health and safety requirements to ensure safety and prevent fire and accidents/incidents.
11. Maintain a safe work area, equipment, and tooling before starting any maintenance job.
12. Maintain high standards of inspection quality.
13. Apply analytical thinking and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes and implement solutions.
14. Communicate clearly and professionally to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
