Aria Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Senior Care Assistant to support both residents and staff at their 88-bed Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Palliative Care Home in Sunningdale, Berkshire. The home has a rating of 9.2 on Carehome.co.uk, and the successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality care and encouraging development within the team.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily activities, including personal care, medication administration, and social engagement. You will also be expected to take on a leadership role, mentoring and supporting junior care staff to ensure the delivery of excellent care. The role requires a compassionate and empathetic approach, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and inclusive team.

Qualifications
  • To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience as a Care Assistant, with a demonstrable commitment to providing person-centered care. A relevant healthcare qualification, such as a NVQ or diploma in Health and Social Care, would be an advantage.
