Job summary

NNW Tech Solutions in Johannesburg, South Africa, is seeking a Senior C# .NET Software Engineer to join its core payments and banking technology team. You will help build secure, scalable cloud-native solutions using C# and Azure, contributing across design, API development, and production support.

The role requires 8+ years of software development experience, expertise in C#, ASP.NET APIs, TypeScript, Angular, Git, RESTful APIs, and familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and SQL

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# (.NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 6+) with a focus on building ASP.NET APIs.
• Experience with TypeScript and Angular (2+)
• Solid understanding of Git for source control
• Strong grasp of scalable application design principles and RESTful APIs
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
• Experience deploying applications in containerised environments (Kubernetes, Azure)
• Ability to support, monitor, and troubleshoot production systems
• Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos and Pipelines)
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Certifications (required or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to system design and API development.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with the team.
• Build scalable, cloud-native solutions using C# and Azure.
• Contribute to API design, testing, and production readiness.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards.
