We are seeking a Senior C&I Project Engineer responsible for overseeing control and instrumentation projects in mining and processing operations.

The role involves design, development, installation, and optimization of control systems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

The C&I Engineer will oversee planning, implementation, and tracking of projects with specific deliverables.

Responsibilities include leading design, development, and implementation of control systems, overseeing installation, maintenance, and optimization to ensure safety and efficiency, and collaborating with other teams for project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant degree / diploma in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering or related field

Experience And Knowledge

• 8-10 years in control and instrumentation engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role
• Experience in mining and processing plant environments
• Proven success in delivering large-scale C&I projects
• Project management skills
• Proficiency in control system design and programming (PLC, DCS, SCADA)
• Strong instrumentation knowledge
• Familiarity with ISA, IEC, IEEE standards

Key Responsibilities

• Manage C&I projects from concept to completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality adherence
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for system integration
• Develop and present project reports and proposals
• Design and Development: select instrumentation, develop system designs, ensure compliance
• Installation and Commissioning: oversee system installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting
• Maintenance and Optimization: develop preventive maintenance, analyze system performance, provide training
• Safety and Compliance: ensure adherence to safety regulations, participate in audits, conduct risk assessments
