An industry-leading bank has an exciting opportunity for a Senior C# Developer to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Purpose Statement: Product development and implementation of software solutions to support the current and future business model.

Key Performance Areas

• Quality: Ensure on-time delivery, system uptime, and perform quality checks through testing scripts and procedures. Maintain and modify existing applications and systems. Liaise with software solution partners.
• On-time delivery: Ensure timely delivery of applications and systems, meeting project deadlines according to SLA.
• System uptime: Provide standby support, system monitoring, capacity planning, and performance/load testing.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities

• Develop technical specifications from functional descriptions or business requirements.
• Develop front-end, back-end, and integration layer software according to specifications.
• Perform quality checks and execute performance analysis.
• Maintain and modify existing applications and systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Qualifications & Experience: National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational), relevant 3-year IT degree/diploma, and 7+ years proven software development experience.

Essential Technologies: .NET Core, C#, SQL, CSS, React JS, MSSQL/SQL/PL-SQL, Web Services, REST Services, WPF, MVVM, MVC, Web Components, SOA.

Knowledge: SDLC, structured application development, DB design, standards, governance, Agile, testing practices, systems analysis & design.

Ideal: System architecture, client rewards programs, Agile MVP approach, working with external/offshore partners, banking systems environment, QA best practices, omni-channel web platform.
