Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Management (or related)
5 years Senior Buying experience of imported and locally sourced parts and items driven by Bill of Materials, historical usage, forecasts and associated Cost management principles
5 years with a stable work record in the past
Advanced Excel and SYSPRO
Knowledge and understanding of BPW products
Responsibilities
Purchasing all goods and components on behalf of the company
Minimizing shortages risks by reviewing the expedite report and items highlighted by the Buyer
Determining which High Value and High Moving items to be included as set by Finance and Logistics Manager
Reviewing supplier increases, discussing, negotiating, and reviewing with Finance and Logistics Manager
Managing, updating, and maintaining accurate Contract Prices in Syspro of all Local and Foreign Suppliers
Setting Landed Costs as per Finance and Logistics Manager Guidelines
Setting the Minimum Stock Min Parameters considering Supplier Lead Times, Transit times, and Safety Stock for the use in the Ordering of Inventory in Stock Min reports
Reviewing import costings considering Forwarder Invoiced, Cost factor Capturing, and Duties as compiled by Buyer
Managing and reviewing the ORDERS FILES
Setting up and managing Sales Back Order reports and managing expediting
Managing tasks and output of the buyers
