Senior Buyer (Commercial Parts & Spares)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer.

Requirements

1. Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Management (or related)
2. 5 years Senior Buying experience of imported and locally sourced parts and items driven by Bill of Materials, historical usage, forecasts and associated Cost management principles
3. 5 years with a stable work record in the past
4. Advanced Excel and SYSPRO
5. Knowledge and understanding of BPW products

Responsibilities

1. Purchasing all goods and components on behalf of the company
2. Minimizing shortages risks by reviewing the expedite report and items highlighted by the Buyer
3. Reviewing stock items (Weekly usage, Safety Stock, Scheduling planned orders)
4. Determining which High Value and High Moving items to be included as set by Finance and Logistics Manager
5. Reviewing supplier increases, discussing, negotiating, and reviewing with Finance and Logistics Manager
6. Managing, updating, and maintaining accurate Contract Prices in Syspro of all Local and Foreign Suppliers
7. Setting Landed Costs as per Finance and Logistics Manager Guidelines
8. Setting the Minimum Stock Min Parameters considering Supplier Lead Times, Transit times, and Safety Stock for the use in the Ordering of Inventory in Stock Min reports
9. Reviewing import costings considering Forwarder Invoiced, Cost factor Capturing, and Duties as compiled by Buyer
10. Managing and reviewing the ORDERS FILES
11. Setting up and managing Sales Back Order reports and managing expediting
12. Managing tasks and output of the buyers
