Senior Buyer

Senior Buyer position available in Paarl.

Our client in Paarl is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Buyer who will be responsible for the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services.

In this position, you will be expected to research potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods. The role will be critical in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring to get the best possible prices for the products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Sage Pastel
