Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Management (or related)
5 years Senior Buying experience of imported and locally sourced parts and items driven by Bill of Materials, historical usage, forecasts and associated Cost management principles
5 years with a stable work record in the past
Advanced Excel and SYSPRO
Knowledge and understanding of BPW products
Good communication skills
Good telephone etiquette
Responsibilities
Purchasing all goods and components on behalf of the company
Minimising shortages risks. Review the expedite report and items highlighted by the Buyer
Determine which High Value and High Moving items to be included as set by Finance and Logistics Manager
Review supplier increases, discuss, negotiate, and review with Finance and Logistics Manager
Manage, update, and maintain accurate Contract Prices in Syspro of all Local and Foreign Suppliers
Set Landed Costs as per Finance and Logistics Manager Guidelines
Set the Minimum Stock Min Parameters considering Supplier Lead Times, Transit times, and Safety Stock for the use in the Ordering of Inventory in Stock Min reports
Review import costings considering Forwarder Invoiced, Cost factor Capturing, and Duties as compiled by Buyer
Manage and review the ORDERS FILES
Set up and Manage Sales Back Order reports and manage expediting
Manage tasks and output of the buyers
