Qualifications

Job description

This global company is a leading supplier of equipment and tools in the mining and construction industry.

As the Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing goods and services from suppliers by creating and releasing purchase orders, administrating order acknowledgements / confirmations, and following up and tracking deliveries.

You will also ensure contract compliance for global, regional, country, and local contracts.

Responsibilities include:

1. Create and release purchase orders.
2. Administer order acknowledgements / confirmations, follow up, and take actions on deviations from purchase orders.
3. Provide purchasing support to internal users.
4. Identify, prepare, and propose sourcing activities.
5. Onboarding (evaluation and approval) of suppliers.
6. Ensure contract compliance for global, regional, country, and local contracts within the area of responsibility.

Requirements:

• Degree / diploma in Supply Chain.
• 3 - 5 years' experience within a buying-related role.
• Must have a driver's license.
• Must be physically and medically fit to work in a mining environment, including meeting all customer vaccination requirements.
