About the Role

Our client, a prominent financial services institution, is seeking a highly proficient Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join their data analytics team in Upington, Northern Cape . This role is critical in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in SQL, data warehousing concepts, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver high-quality, user-friendly BI solutions. This position is based at our client's offices in Upington , offering a stable and professional work environment in the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive Business Intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI projects.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse models and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Create complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Utilize BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) to build and deploy insightful reports and dashboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex query writing and optimization.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
• Proven experience with at least one major BI tool, such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
