Job description



An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise customers through direct and indirect channels and growing revenue within a select existing client base. The successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador, building market awareness and fostering strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers within the ICT/ISP sector.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned portfolio segments in line with company goals.


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, providing expert consultation and guidance.


  • Collaborate with the wider sales team, offering mentorship and support where required.


  • Oversee smooth client onboarding and ensure seamless handover to technical teams.


  • Strengthen partnerships with key clients and stakeholders across various regions.


  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the client portfolio and proactively identify new business opportunities.


  • Stay updated with industry trends and technical developments to deliver consistent, informed messaging to clients.


  • Research and propose new products aligned with client needs and define effective go-to-market strategies.


  • Manage portfolio profitability (margin and revenue growth) and renegotiate contracts to ensure sustainable profitability.


  • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses to deliver value-added solutions.


  • Conduct quarterly client reviews and maintain regular travel as needed.


  • Monitor industry news to anticipate trends and adjust strategies accordingly.


  • Ensure accurate pipeline management and reporting to track account health and progress.


  • Collaborate with customer teams to prepare and deliver Business Value Assessments.


  • Maintain mid-level and senior client relationships with consistent support and guidance.


  • Actively participate in training and maintain relevant certifications as required.


  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.


Key Relationships


  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and senior management (D and M level).


  • Establish and grow relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders.


  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer success and satisfaction.


Experience & Qualifications


  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in strategic sales, preferably within the ICT or telecommunications industry.


  • Proven experience selling a broad range of ICT business services.


  • Established network and strong relationships with customers in relevant industries.


  • Comfortable engaging with C-level executives and influencing key decision-makers.


  • Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of closing high-value contracts.


  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding complex solution sales targets.


  • International sales experience is advantageous.


  • Ability to work extended hours and deliver consistently against deadlines.


  • Capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
