Senior Business Development Manager – Sandton, Johannesburg.

Are you a high-performing sales professional with a strong background in solution selling, asset leasing, and C-suite engagement?

A dynamic, forward-thinking business specialising in IT leasing and asset management solutions for medium to large enterprises is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM). This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complex deal cycles, builds lasting client partnerships, and can lead high-value enterprise engagements from end to end.

As the SBDM, you’ll operate at an executive level – identifying, engaging, and securing new opportunities within large enterprise accounts. You’ll shape deal strategy, manage solution design across financial and technical requirements, and ensure successful delivery of tailored offerings that meet ROI targets and client expectations.

Salary: R1 200 000 per annum CTC (Highly Negotiable) plus Provident Fund and Medical Aid.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience in IT leasing, hardware lifecycle management, or complex financial models.
  • Exceptional consultative sales skills, including C-suite relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, price, and close tailored solution offerings.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and close new business within untapped markets and targeted enterprise sectors.
  • Craft bespoke leasing and asset management solutions for large clients.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close and post-sales follow-up.
  • Guide solution pricing and commercial structuring alongside internal teams.
  • Build strategic client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Partner with vendors and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Identify industry trends and lead innovation in solution development.
  • Represent the business at senior-level engagements and industry events.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and performance targets through structured, strategic execution.
