Job summary

DigiCert in Cape Town seeks a Senior Business Continuity Analyst to own and continuously improve the enterprise BCP/DR program, coordinating with technology, security, and business teams.

You will develop BIAs, document RTO/RPO/MTD, and ensure testing, audits, and remediation align with ISO/IEC standards and industry frameworks.

This role requires 4+ years in BC/DR, strong governance skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in business continuity, disaster recovery or operational resilience.
• Strong understanding of BCP/DR frameworks and lifecycle management.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable in regulated, audit-sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain enterprise BCP, ensure it is current and approved.
• Coordinate periodic reviews and updates of the BCP.
• Manage Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and document RTO, RPO, and MTD.
• Oversee disaster recovery plans and ensure alignment with continuity objectives.
• Develop and maintain a BCP/DR testing and exercise framework.
• Provide regular reporting on BCP/DR maturity, testing outcomes, risks, and remediation status.
