Job summary

Nedbank is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to lead the business analysis of complex operational change within Secured Innovation, with a focus on improving recoveries effectiveness and operational efficiency. You will translate business needs into clear requirements and collaborate across Business, Group Technology and QA through design, testing, implementation and post-implementation validation.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement and demonstrable experience

Qualifications

At least 6 years’ experience in business and/or technology-enabled change, including at least 4 years in business analysis.
Strong experience in root-cause analysis, current-state assessment and operational process redesign.
Practical Agile delivery experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement and collaboration with Product Owners, developers and QA.
Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, analytical thinking and problem-solving in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
Knowledge of BA body of knowledge and research methodologies.

Responsibilities

Process analysis and redesign: map current-state and design future-state processes.
Requirements engineering: elicit, analyse, validate and baseline requirements with traceability.
Agile delivery support: create epics, features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Document rules and decision logic using decision tables and process models.
Data and management information: define data requirements and quality checks.
Risk, controls and compliance considerations.
Testing and business acceptance support.
Operational readiness and implementation coordination.
Benefits tracking and post-implementation validation.
Stakeholder and decision management.
BA practice leadership: standards, artefacts, templates and lessons learned.
