Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform high-level analysis activities in the CE cycle, including unpacking features and assessing impacts and dependencies.
- Identify areas for improvement within current business environments and shared processes.
- Contribute to business strategy and stay updated on industry trends, especially in retail.
- Operate confidently across multiple domains, integrated systems, and operational processes, considering enterprise-wide impacts.
- Analyze customer perspectives and domain impacts using user journeys and operational insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document user requirements.
- Assess the business implications of requirements and propose process improvements.
- Evaluate risks, costs, and benefits of alternative business processes.
- Define business rules and guide their implementation in systems development.
- Drive change initiatives within and across departments.
- Build expertise in specific areas and facilitate workshops with business and IT teams.
- Work with architects and designers to evaluate solutions and advise on business design.
- Lead and influence stakeholders to adopt optimal solutions.
- Mentor junior and intermediate Business Analysts.
- Maintain strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders, ensuring solutions are delivered as promised.
- Coordinate with teams and benchmark solutions to add value.
- Continuously evaluate and improve solution assessment and validation processes.
- Identify constraints affecting change options and support ongoing business improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships for projects involving third parties.
- Ensure high-quality delivery within project timelines and budget, aligning with organizational objectives.
- Research opportunities to enhance business offerings and customer value.
- Shape solution scope and facilitate understanding among business users.
- Use appropriate techniques to analyze problems and translate them into business needs.
- Assess technical solutions against requirements and map data/reporting needs.
- Support change management during User Acceptance Testing.
- Create specifications for business requirements and processes, adhering to standards.
- Mitigate project risks and resolve interdependencies.
- Contribute to the development of the Business Analysis practice and community of practice.
- Promote a collaborative team environment and proactive communication.
- Maintain awareness of own strengths and weaknesses and pursue professional development.
- Stay informed about external issues and industry developments.

Qualifications and experience:- Degree with 5 to 8 years of related experience.
- Advanced Business Analysis certification (CBAP, AAC, or similar).
- Experience across all SDLC phases.
- Business Process Management experience.
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills.
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- Willingness to mentor junior team members.
- Good business and IT understanding.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Facilitation or coaching qualifications/experience.
- Knowledge of the retail industry's broader context.
