Purpose of the role

The Senior Finance Analyst assists with the timely and accurate reporting of the financial performance of the PR Africa business (PR affiliates + third-party markets), manages all budgeting and forecast workflows to ensure management has clear visibility of past, current, and future performance.

This role works alongside Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure clarity on sales performance, net revenue generation, and drives cost optimization initiatives.

The analyst establishes strong relationships with counterparts in African markets, champions best practices for group reporting, and supports the rollout of these initiatives across the region.

The team consolidates and reports on Africa region performance, identifies risks and opportunities, and collaborates with market teams.

Key competencies and experience
  • Ownership of data preparation and loading into Polaris for monthly reporting and forecasts
  • Management of reporting deadlines and master data across Africa
  • Expertise in ERP and Finance tools (JDE, Navision, Business Central)
  • Building and sharing financial reports and analysis for stakeholders
  • Preparation of P&L commentary and executive presentations
  • Development of tools for budgets, plans, and estimates
  • Business partnering and providing real-time financial support to stakeholders
  • External stakeholder communication and audit support
Job requirements
  • Qualified and enrolled in a recognized accounting certification (CIMA, CA(SA), etc.)
  • Minimum 3-5 years in financial reporting, analysis, or audit
  • Experience in FMCG and multinational environments preferred
  • Knowledge of database management & BI tools, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills
