Our client, a reputable Retailer based in Cape Town, is currently looking to appoint a Senior Business Analyst to join their finance department. The main purpose of the position is to ensure that company finance systems and business processes incorporate industry standards and best practices.

Position Info :

Qualifications required :

• Degree in Finance or a similar field
• Further studies in information systems or finance are advantageous

Skills and experience required :

• 5+ years’ experience in a systems, process, or business analysis role
• Experience in the Retail or Financial Services industry
• Strong understanding of accounting practices
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP software processes
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proven track record in leading large, complex projects as a project/business analyst
• Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Experience using business process management tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Leadership experience managing a team of business analysts
• Ability to propose new developments and changes to business processes and technology
• Experience in documenting business processes, including functional and technical specifications
• Testing and providing implementation support
• Change management and user training

• Knowledge of stock accounting
