Main focus of the role
We are looking for a self-starting Senior Business Analyst to support StructureIt projects and lead a team of business analysts. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, leadership, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on business analysis, delivery management, and team leadership and line management. The successful candidate will work across multiple business domains, ensuring high-quality requirement gathering, solution design, and implementation.
What you'll do
• Business Analysis & Solution Design
o Lead requirement gathering and documentation, translating client needs into functional specifications.
o Define and document use cases, user stories, process flows, and UI designs.
o Work closely with the development team to design scalable solutions.
o Drive feature backlog grooming and prioritization.
o Ensure that solutions align with business strategy, compliance, and risk management requirements.
• Stakeholder & Client Management
o Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to clients and internal teams.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
o Support pre-sales efforts and revenue retention by identifying value-driven enhancements.
o Ensure effective communication and expectation management across all stakeholders.
• Delivery & Quality Management
o Work with QA teams to define test cases and ensure system testing meets business needs.
o Lead peer reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards across all BA deliverables.
o Identify and mitigate risks in solution implementation.
o Ensure timely and accurate information flow between all project stakeholders.
o Deliver work at a Level 4 initiative, operating independently with minimal supervisory support.
• Domain Expertise & Cross-Application Engagement
o Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the domain and system architecture.
o Provide thought leadership on best practices for business analysis within financial services.
o Work across multiple applications, domains, and business units, ensuring cohesive solutions.
o Act as the "go-to" person for functional and strategic aspects of business analysis.
• Strategic Capability Building & Leadership
o Play a key role in mentoring and coaching other analysts as well as provide line management support.
o Support the recruitment and onboarding of new BAs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
o Contribute to goal-setting, process improvement, and toolset development within the BA capability.
o Champion best practices in business analysis, improving methodologies and frameworks.

o 5+ years of experience in financial services, ideally in a business analysis or solution delivery role.
o Good experience in being part of project teams and building out solutions from the ground up.
o Experience working across multiple business applications and domains.
• Business & Delivery Skills
o Proven track record as a lead analyst on projects from inception to delivery.
o Experience in agile and waterfall project methodologies.
o Strong ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
o Expertise in requirement gathering, user story writing, and feature prioritization.
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high delivery standards.
• Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
o Strong communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex concepts simply.
o Experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and influencing decision-making.
o Ability to operate in a distributed team environment, working across multiple regions.
